Hall's Auctioneers and Valuers were established in 1995 in Galashiels in the beautiful Scottish Borders by Michael Hall, who previously trained with Dowell's Auctioneers at 65 George Street, Edinburgh, in the early 1970's for 3 years and then spent the next 22 years dealing in antiques and collectables, before returning to auctioneering. With an interest and fascination in history it was easy to see why I have always been interested in antiques and collectables, since they are the tangible items relating to history. The saleroom is situated on the ground floor of Ladhope Vale House and lies next to the main A7 on the north side and the Gala Water to its southern boundary. Whether you wish to dispose of only one item or a complete estate, selling at auction is a simple and efficient way of achieving this.

Our arrangements with you remain strictly confidential, and in the spirit of competition we endeavour to obtain the best price for you Written valuations can be completed for a fee. We are happy to give free advice to prospective vendors on the likely sale value of items brought into our offices, it is advisable to arrange this by appointment.

For larger items we would be happy to call on you.
We look forward to being of service to you and welcome you to our saleroom.
