A pre-1855 officer’s scarlet long tailed coatee of The 46th (South Devonshire) Regiment, white facings, gilt loops to collar and slashed cuffs, 2 lines of 9 gilt buttons, bearing “46” within crowned title strap and wreath with battle honour “Dominica”, silk lining (torn); and a buff leather shoulder belt with sword slings, and rectangular shoulder belt plate bearing gilt “46” within crowned title strap and wreath with “Dominica” scroll, all on silver plated cut star. Good Condition (a few small repairs, white cloth to collar and cuffs replaced). Plate 2
