A pair of 1970s ruby and diamond floral earrings. Each designed as an oval ruby cabochon cluster, to the brilliant-cut diamond petal surround, with polished highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 5.50 to 6cts. French assay marks. Length 3.2cms. Weight 26.5gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with few , minor scattered inclusions.
  • Rubies are a well matched, medium deep slightly purplish red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching.

  • Rubies are in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • With clip fittings for non-pierced ears.

  • Stamped 750, further marks.
