A Chinese Wooden Coin Box Inset with Republican-Era Coins and Turquoise Mount.
Rectangular wooden box of elongated form, the exterior inlaid on multiple sides with circular metal coins featuring profile portraits, set flush into the wood. The top fitted with a metal loop handle mounted through a scalloped metal plate, accented with a small turquoise bead. One end panel decorated with a single oval coin portrait, while the reverse face is carved with linear and abstract motifs within a recessed panel.
