London Underground Poster West Ruislip Station Art Deco Architecture GWR. Original hand drawn architect design for a London Underground station West Ruislip tube station featuring an image of the station building most likely designed by Brian Lewis (1906-1991). West Ruislip station is on National Rail and Central line of the London Underground, the station was first opened by the Great Western Railway and Great Central Joint Railway in 1906, the extension to the original station was planned before the Second World War as part of the New Works Programme of the London Passenger Transport Board in 1935-1940s. The war delayed the building and plans for the extention of the line changed. The station building was built by British Railways for London Underground and was not completed until the 1960s. By Architects Office GWR Paddington Station. Good condition, creasing, staining, pinholes, tears. Country of issue: UK, designer: , size (cm): 70x50, year of printing: 1938.
