An early 1933 SS Aufmarsch (Rally) badge commemorating the Gruppe Frankfurt am Main gathering held on 10th & 11th June 1933. The badge features the SS runes, national eagle, oakleaf wreath with swastika, and Totenkopf (Death’s Head) motif, together with the inscriptions: * GRUPPE FRANKFURT MAIN * WEST. 10.u.11.VI.1933 * AUFMARSCH ABSCHNITT This is an attractive early Third Reich political badge with a good untouched patina, die-struck construction and original style pin fitting. It displays well and would make an excellent addition to an advanced collection of pre-war German political or SS memorabilia. Provenance. This badge was originally purchased as an original period item from a specialist militaria auction and is believed to be an original example. It is offered in good faith exactly as acquired.
