A 19th century French bronze inkwell, the body of rectangular form raised upon a stepped base, the conforming cover with female figural surmount lifting to reveal two ceramic liners, 5.5 (14cm) high.
With general rubbing and wear. Ceramic liners with crazing, one heavily chipped.Viewing in person is recommended and is available in our Birmingham saleroom on the specified dates.
