A mid Victorian 15ct gold gem-set ring. The twin circular-shape garnets, with cushion-shape green paste and circular-shape garnet sides, to the foliate engraved band. AF. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1867. Weight 2.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One stone deficient

  • some stones are possible replacements

  • Garnets are a medium purple, with typical clarity.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • One green paste has significant abrasion to surface. <
