A Burmese ruby and diamond dress ring. The oval ruby cabochon, weighing 1.50cts, with brilliant-cut diamond surround and similarly-cut diamond tapered shoulders. With report 5777-8946, dated 22nd February 2017, from GCS stating Burma, no heat, moderate oil in fissures. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. French assay marks. Ring size M1/2. Weight 4.3gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of repair soft solder visible under setting.
