A very rare early Prototype model 1933 SA (Sturmabteilung) service dagger by Carl Eickhorn as denoted by his early squirrel logo.. These newly designed daggers were delivered to the highest SA officers as a special Christmas gift in December 1933, shortly after the design was approved which aptly nicknamed them the “The Christmas Dagger” They were reputedly to of been design by
Hitler who was inspired by a 16th-century Swiss hunting dagger (the "Holbein" dagger) The blade
features a unique, different Gothic font for "Alles für Deutschland," particularly a distinct style of
the letter "A". An early SA Eagle let into the handle and a chemically plated scabbard.
