Year of the Dog by Nguyen Tu Nghiem, 28 x 50 cm, Gouache on paper. Signed in the lower left. Nguyen Tu Nghiem (1922–2016), one of Vietnam's most important modern artists and a member of the celebrated 'Gang of Five.' He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de l'Indochine and was renowned for his unique fusion of traditional Vietnamese motifs with modernist abstraction. This item is held at Cadmore ASIAN Office in Vietnam and will be shipped from there. Buyers will be responsible for direct shipping payments. Delivery will take slightly longer.
