Railway. Modern Traction. A collection of approx. 150 x 35mm, black & white negatives, mostly in strips of 4. The negatives feature a variety of diesels, mainly on the Western and Eastern Region around London, c1972/73. There are several shots of "Westerns", "Peaks", class 50's, class 40's, class 31's, class 37's and "Deltics", plus some Scottish Region Sulzers taken on a Railtour. The photos are reminiscent of the diesel "Bradford Barton" books published in the early 1970's. The negatives are good quality and well exposed, there are repeat photos of the same locomotive(s). None of the negatives are captioned. Copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
