An 18ct gold glass-filled ruby and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape glass-filled ruby, with brilliant-cut diamond sides and a tapered band. Total diamond weight 0.31ct, stamped to band, estimated H-J colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Edinburgh. Ring size 2.3gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Glass-filled ruby cloudy medium purplish-red, well saturated, with profuse inclusions that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stone, some of which are surface reaching. Treatment may result in future durability issues

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Diamonds whitish, with light coloured inclusions that can be seen very easily under magnification, some of which can be seen with the naked eye.
  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
