A 20th Century Italian blue glass jug. This opaline glass vessel presents in a vibrant, opaque turquoise color. It features a bulbous body adorned with raised, molded scrollwork or chain-link patterns, surmounted by a fluted neck with vertical ribbing, a flared rim, and a prominent pouring spout. A clear, twisted glass handle is affixed from the neck to the shoulder. The base is smooth with a central indentation, with no manufacturer's marks or text visible. Similar examples are often associated with Empoli glass production from the 1960s.
