A late 17th/early 18th century eight-day Longcase Clock, by John Barrow of London, the 12 inch arched brass dial applied with Roman numeral hours and Arabic minutes, the centre with subsidiary seconds and date apertures, decorated with 'Twin cherubs with maces' (1695-1730) gilt spandrels, the arched pediment housing signature in gilt frame supported by two cherubs, housed in a later mahogany and oak case, the hood decorated with fretwork and pierced scrolls, raised on a shaped apron base, complete with associated pendulum and weights, H 228 cm.
