The potent Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG was introduced in July 1994 as a flagship of the successful C-Class range with limited numbers. A five-speed automatic gearbox and standard cruise control were added in August 1996 and the car was eventually run out with the C-class facelift in the summer of 1997. Mercedes super saloon fans then had to wait until the following year for the introduction of its replacement, the 4.3-litre V8-powered C43, which included all the refinements of the updated C-Class range. This car was also offered in estate form, a version which continued for six months when the saloon range was phased out in autumn 2000.

This example is a very rare Mercedes C43 Estate, originally supplied new by Bradshaw Webb (Chelsea) Ltd. The car features a number of extras, including green/black metallic paint, black leather interior, Parktronic, auto tinting, cruise control, folding door mirrors, xenon headlights, electric glass sunroof, Alpine CD autochanger, and headlight wash/wipe. The original cost of the car was £41,217.02 but with all the extras the total was £48,645.52 plus VAT, and the original sales invoice is included in the documents. A tracker system is fitted to the car and can be reactivated, all paperwork and certificates are included.

The car comes with an MOT until February 2019 with no advisories, 3 keys, and the original book pack. The service book shows 8 stamps and there is a comprehensive folder of service bills from 1999 to the present day.

The vendor states that the bodywork is in exceptional condition with no apparent rust anywhere. The interior of the car is in excellent condition, with all gauges and switches functioning as they should. The engine and gearbox are also in excellent condition. This is a very rare car that is appreciating in value.
