I bought the car in 2018 from the previous owner who had owned the vehicle since 1992
He was then retired and living in France and spent two years (2017-2018) restoring the vehicle; the car underwent a full nut and bolt replacement with bare metal respray, new exhaust, fuel tank plus welding etc. All restoration work was based on using authentic or original parts
I've only used the car for the odd classic event and it has always been garaged
