HENRI JACOT, PARIS NO 19132 A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS GORGE CASE STRIKING CARRIAGE CLOCK REPEATER retailed by Chas. Frodsham New Bond St. the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic seconds markings above a small alarm dial fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement with silvered lever platform escapement striking and repeating on a coiled gong - with silent/strike lever beneath the base. (Dimensions: 16cm high handle up.)

In very good original condition, striking the hours and quarters correctly, the repeat function works as it should. The escapement is original to the clock and ticks away with good strong action. there is no damage to the dial, all of the glasses are in good order. The case has a lacquered finish which has small scratches to the top and the handle.
