1927 (Nov 24) Registered commercial cover from Bombay to London flown by Imperial Airways from Basra to Cairo, bearing a red "VIA AIR MAIL" label and franked 1a + 1r, the 1r stamp apparently imperforate at right and base, 2mm margins on both sides with traces of the adjacent stamp showing at right. A little reduced at left and some edge faults, an unusual stamp variety.
