This 1998 Daimler 4.0 V8 LWB Saloon is presented in the truly elegant colour combination of Westminster Blue with ivory full leather seats and brown piping, and is described by the vendor to be in very good condition in all aspects and to drive as a Daimler should.
This example has only had three owners, and has been lovingly maintained since then. The car comes with original service book with 11 services, serviced by the supplying dealer R A Creamers of Kensington right up to 76,000 miles, then substantial service bills all the way through until 2020, and also a recent oil service. There are too many bills to list, plus there are spare keys, old MoTs, old style log books, hand books etc.
The government used these Daimlers in this colour, and very stately they look too. The leather is ivory with mushroom piping with the front seats having picnic tables in the backs. The air-conditioning is cold, the electric roof works, the alloy wheels are in good order, and the tyres are good. This car looks like a well-cared for example with great service history and bills, a long MoT, and it’s a pleasure to drive.
The car was purchased from Barons in June of this year but is now unfortunately being sold due to the buyer passing away.
