An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire three-stone and diamond ring. Designed as a graduated cushion-shape sapphire line, with old-cut diamond double spacers. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Ring size M. Weight 3.6gms.

  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resize.
  • Claws re-tipped. Ring has recently been cleaned to a high standard.
  • One diamond chipped to crown.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphires are a medium deep blue hue, fairly well to well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. A few surface reaching.

  • Sapphires in good condition with some abrasion and a few minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Estimated dimensions of largest sapphire 5.7 by 4.7 by 2.5mms.
