A 1990 Renault Alpine GTA V6, registration number G100 UNB, red. Introduced in 1984, the GTA was the first Alpine to be sold under the Renault name and would remain in production until 1991. The new model was basically an improved version of the previous Alpine A310 featuring the rear PRV V6 engine mated to a five speed gearbox. The body incorporated many modern design features such as integrated bumpers, triangular C pillars and polyester plastic and fibreglass panels. The use of the modern manufacturing techniques made the GTA a light and dynamic drivers car which in period was more than a match rivals such as the Porsche 944. This normally aspirated GTA is finished in bright red coachwork with a contrasting black leather interior and features a Holly carburettor for improved performance and reliability. V5C, MOT to 16th September 2020 See illustrations
