An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst pendant. Of openwork design, the oval-shape amethyst, with a split pearl foliate scrolling surround, suspending split pearl and circular-shape amethyst dropper, with fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 3.3cms Length of chain 39.2cms. Weight 3.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Amethyst medium purple, fairly well saturated, with x clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Split pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Minor nacre damage to some.
  • Fairly good lustre.
  • Split pearls fairly well matched, differ slightly in shape and size. Some are slightly off-round.
  • Stamped 9k.
