This is a mixed media (pen and watercolour) drawing, the reason for the numbering has been told to us by one of Peter Firmin's daughters -'these were done as originals but a limited number to give out as gifts or donate to charity. He also had a technique whereby he drew the original outline and then copied (using a light box) it onto quality paper and hand coloured them individually before signing'. In good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration
