Two ivory mounted walking canes, comprising one late Victorian example having a ribbed and scrolled silver mount with engraved personal initials to the fluted ivory handle and wooden cane, hallmarked Birmingham 1893, the other having a chain carved ivory handle also with engraved personal initials to the ebonised cane, larger 33.75 (85.75cm) long.
Silver example with loose joins, heavy rubbing to silver mount, age cracking to ivory and general light wear to cane. 'Chain' example with age cracking to ivory and rubbing and wear to ebonised cane.
