A diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond collet line, to the openwork lattice, with similarly-cut diamond spacers and geometric sides. Estimated total diamond weight 3cts, principal diamonds estimated K-tinted colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Length 4cms. Weight 6.2gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched. Three principal diamonds appear to draw noticeably more colour.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Principal diamonds with minor inclusions under 10x magnification. One of the principal diamonds with some abrasion to one of the kite facet edges.
  • Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Non-principal diamonds with small to moderate inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Width 1.8cms.
