A Kashmiri papier-mâché rectangular lidded box, decorated in rich gilt arabesque scrolls across the top and sides, framed by floral borders with multicoloured blossoms in red, blue, cream, and green. The centre of the lid features a circular medallion of densely painted flowers, echoed by half-medallions on the sides.
