A LARGE FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY PRE-RAPHAELITE OIL AND EMBOSSED GILT GESSO ON PANEL
Adam and Eve and the serpent in The Garden of Eden, with embossed inspiration ‘UNTO ADAM ALSO AND TO HIS WIFE DID THE LORD GOD MAKE COATS OF SKINS AND CLOTHED THEM’, held in original partial gilt and painted frame with hand painted inscription, lamb of god that takes away the sins of the world have mercy upon us, lamb of god that takes away the sins of the world grant us thy peace.
