A Lot of Indian Brass Nutcrackers, 19th Century.
A lot of four Indian nutcrackers, each crafted in brass and dating to the 19th century. This set features a variety of forms including stylised birds, serpents, and a divine female figure with a child, rendered in high relief. The handles are richly detailed with incised geometric, floral, and scale-like patterns, while the cracking mechanisms vary from curved beaks to hinged jaw structures.
