Good condition beneath glass in original Victorian gilt frames, one retaining the original dealer's printed trade label of the french galleries inscribed with the artist's name and title Richmond on Thames. Cleaned and remounted in the frames by Gale & Co Ltd, Birmingham, probably in the 1980s. Apparently no overpainting or restoration. Unexamined out of the frames or under UV
