EMILE LOUIS PICAULT (1833-1915), The Escholier, 14th Siecle, he holds a clasped book beneath his right arm, a lantern in his left hand, a sword hanging from a chain, inscribed E Picault to the base which has an applied later banner to the front edge, 63cm high, early 20th century. See illustration
Signature is just the one stamped into the circular base, no foundry mark. General condition fair - two areas on back of left and right arm where there is scratching/wear. Patina generally good, damage - feather to hat
