A German WWII Youth flag or pennant, characterized by three horizontal stripes of red, white, and red, with the central white stripe appearing proportionally wider. The textile item features a distinctive tapered rectangular shape, narrowing towards the fly end which is cut straight. A reinforced off-white fabric band forms the hoist, bearing faded handwritten markings including "44" and "I.S." or "1.S.". Constructed from a natural fiber, likely cotton.
