Lund, 24 Fleet Street, London', 28cm wide, 17cm high, 20cm deep Footnote:In 1835, William Lund, son of Thomas, also a cutler and dressing-case maker, opened his own manufactory and retail shop at 24 Fleet Street, London. The premises had previously belonged to William Anderson, a cutler and razor manufacturer with whom William Lund had served his apprenticeship. Although Thomas and William operated their businesses independently, following Thomas's death in 1845, William assumed control of both enterprises. He also expanded his Fleet Street operation, acquiring No. 23 and, later, by 1859, extending further to include No. 25. Upon William Lund's death in 1872, the business was continued by his son Charles under the name William Lund & Son.
