A George III mahogany tea caddy, the top inlaid a swan, 23 cm wide
Report by RB
Generally a nice colour, one of the hinges has been repaired with a patch put into the back of the body. The carcass is slightly bowed rather than being perfectly flat.
General wear, a few scratches, loss of veneer, no key. The lid is a single section but veneered to look like two sections. No handles.
