The Ford Mustang is an American icon and was originally based on the Ford Falcon compact. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on 9th March 1964 and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on 17th April 1964. It was, and remains, one of the most successful product launches in automotive history. The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market and its legend lives on with revised models still in production today after 50 years. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power.

1966 Ford Mustang Notchback imported and UK registered about 2 years ago, and garage kept when not in use. The car is described by the vendor to be in good all-round condition and looking stunning in the Silver Blue Metallic paintwork. The recent Blue and White Pony interior and new American Racing Wheels finish the car off to a high standard. The car is in regular use and runs well, aided by the electronic ignition which has also been recently fitted. The headlights are UK H4 units with side lights all working as they should. These Mustangs are very popular iconic cars, and are steadily increasing in price.
