An early 20c English chiming bracket clock, the three train barrelled spring movement chiming on four gongs and hour striking on a fifth. The movement is stamped J.J.E and has a 20cm diam. silvered dial with Roman numerals. It is contained in an arch top mahogany case with boxwood stringing and inset lighter mahogany panels to the front. The base has a stepped plinth and brass bun feet. The clock stands 42cm tall.

The movement is complete, clean and seems to run. the dial silvering is good and the glass and brass bezel undamaged. The case is generally good with one scratch to the top right of the arch.
