A Chinese Celadon-Glazed Carved ‘Dragon and Peony’ Dish.

A celadon-glazed dish with a scalloped rim and a densely carved design. The interior features two confronting dragons amidst swirling foliage within a circular medallion, surrounded by peony blooms finely carved in low relief. The surface displays an even grey-green glaze with a subtle crackle pattern. The underside shows a similar celadon tone with a wide, unglazed footring revealing the buff-coloured body.

D: Approximately 20.5cm

Provenance: Private collection from a British gentleman.
