An album of signal boxes. The majority are black and white, 5" x 3" prints with some colour prints noted as well. The album contains approx. 220 prints. Note the pages have begun to deteriorate and some are loose, however, the prints are not affected. Some very good photos of ex BR/Ex GWR signalboxes, including interiors and instruments. Also, passing trains including steam and modern traction, signals, gantries and some preserved locos and stock. Most of the photos are from the 1970's with some earlier noted. Locations noted: Westbury South, Witham, Aller Junction, Swindon Goods Yard, Marlborough, Newbury West, Old Oak Common Engine Shed box, Newbury West, Bletchington, St Austell and others. The majority are captioned, no copyright, sample illustrated.
