A Chinese Sang de Boeuf Glazed Porcelain Five-Neck Vase - A multi-necked porcelain vase featuring a bulbous body from which five conjoined cylindrical necks rise, each terminating in a flaring rim. The vase is covered in a lustrous, mottled reddish-brown glaze of the flambé or sang de boeuf type, which thins to a pale mushroom or off-white color at the rims and raised areas, highlighting its form. Each neck is decorated with a band of raised white slip-dots below the rim. The underside of one of the necks bears a faint, impressed four-character seal script mark, "大清乾隆年製" (Dà Qīng Qiánlóng nián zhì), translating to "Made in the Great Qing Qianlong reign."
