A late Victorian gem-set bee brooch. The oval-shape green garnet and vari-cut diamond body, with circular ruby cabochon eyes and rose-cut diamond wings, atop knife-edge bars with rose-cut diamond and seed pearl terminals. Length 4.3cms. Weight 4.4gms.
