An Islamic Mother-of-Pearl Amulet Pendant with Calligraphic Inscription.
A circular amulet pendant carved from iridescent mother-of-pearl and set within a silver mount with a single suspension loop. One face is engraved with flowing Arabic calligraphy arranged in a compact, emblematic composition, the darkened lines standing in contrast against the luminous surface of the shell. The inscription is devotional in nature, executed in a stylised calligraphic form.
