A mid Victorian gold, hardstone cameo, cultured pearl and enamel hinged bangle. The agate carved to depict a woman in profile with blue enamel mount, to the cultured pearl, blue enamel and gold wreath surround and similarly-designed openwork sides. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 45gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Glue visible to some areas of enamel.
  • Enamel possible replacement.
  • Agate has two small natural fissures to one side, one surface reaching.
  • Cultured pearls are drilled, probable replacements.
  • Width (at widest) 4.3cms.
