An impressive 19th-century French mantel clock, the ornate brass case fitted with bevelled cut glass panels and raised on decorative feet. The white enamel dial features finely hand-painted decoration and numerals.
The movement is a high-quality twin-fusee mechanism by the renowned maker F. Japy & Co, striking on the hour and half hour, and fitted with a mercury pendulum regulator.
Overall dimensions: 36 cm high x 20 cm wide x 18 cm deep.
