A late 18th century French flintlock blunderbuss travelling pistol, by Lamotte, 8¾” overall, 2 stage swamped steel barrel 4”; rounded lock with swan neck cock and unbridled frizzen, signed “L. Lamotte à Arme”; varnished fullstock inlaid with brass wire scrolls around and behind the breech tang, with plain steel mounts including long spurred butt cap, and with original steel ramrod.
