AN 18TH CENTURY FAMILLE ROSE ARMORIAL DEEP PLATE, depicting a coat of arms to the centre possibly; Peers. The border decorated with fine gilt lattice fret work detail divided by panels with three containing floral bouquets and one a family crest. Circa 1730s. Very good condition over all, some minor nibbling to the edge. 21.5cm wide. Information on Peers: Charles Peers Esq. of Chislehampton Lodge in Oxfordshire had a service made in 1731. He was son of Sir Charles Peers who was Lord Mayor of London in 1715.
