An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape sapphire, with vari-cut diamond surround, to the openwork shoulders and grooved band. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 10.5 by 10.2 by 5.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts. Ring size J. Weight 5.2gms.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds have moderate, scattered light and dark inclusions some surface reaching.
  • Sapphire in good condition.

  • Sapphire is a medium, slightly violetish blue hue, weak saturation, windowing to the centre of the gem. Eye visible partially healed fingerprints visible.
