A late Victorian gold, coral and split pearl brooch. Comprising two alternating circular-shape coral and split pearl, interlocking horseshoes. Length 2.7cms. Weight 7.4gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Possible replacement gems.
  • Significant discolouration to reverse and sides.
  • File scratches and small dents to mounts.
  • Split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Split pearls generally in good condition, some with uneven surface.
  • Coral untested for natural colour origin.
  • Coral is a fairly well matched light orangey-pink colour, with patches of darker colour.
  • Coral in good condition with minor abrasions.
