A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST OF DRAWERS, CIRCA 1750. the top with moulded edge above brushing slide and four graduated drawers (Grosvenor House Fair label to one), the canted corners with Chippendale blind fretwork, raised on bracket feet, height 81cm, width 88cm, depth 52cm.
Restored, handles and escutcheons replaced, fading, front section of brushing slide replaced, splits to original section of slide, small corner section of moulding from top loose but present, shrinkage split to both sides, old marks and surface wear throughout, repair to front foot.
