1926 (July 23) England to Australia flight by Alan Cobham, cover with a printed black border and explanation that Arthur Elliot, the flight engineer, had been killed by a bullet fired from the ground between Baghdad and Basra, flown from Calcutta to Rangoon with a KGV 1a cancelled at Calcutta, reverse with a photographic vignette and Rangoon c.d.s (July 26). Also an unused flight vignette signed and dated on the reverse by Stephen Smith, two photos of the funeral of Arthur Elliot, and the booklet "World Flier's Danger Zone" by Stephen Smith, published in Calcutta, with all proceeds from sales going to the mother of Arthur Elliot.
