A late Victorian 9ct gold Albert chain, circa 1880. Designed as a series of graduated alternating tubular and rectangular-shape links, with central T-bar and lobster clasp terminal. Length 35cms. Weight 35.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Some areas of discolouration and dents are visible to the links.
Some dents and damage are visible to the jump ring attaching the T-bar/possible replacement.
Two faceted jump rings appear to be replacements that are attached to the padlock clasp.
